**VIEW 2009 STEER CONSIGNMENTS**

SALE FORMAT
The 2009 Club Calf sale will be held in a Silent Bid format. Bids placed on cattle by buyers will be turned in to the sales table between the hours of 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm. After a bid is received the price will be posted for all buyers and sellers to view. After a bid is posted the bidding will be opened back up to higher bids untill the closing time of bidding. At that time the final bid will be the buyer and animal will go to that buyer. Each individual bid will be no less than $50 each but can be as high as bidders deems necissary. Multiple bids may be turned in by each bidder. Phone bids will be accepted if prior approval is made before the start of the auction is made to the sale committee.

SALE CATTLE
Both Steers and Heifers will be eligable for the sale. Heifers and steers selling as purebred must be tattooed and have registration papers and or certificates issued by their respective breed associations to sell as purebred. Heifers and steers without appropriate paperwork and tattoo at check-in will sell as commercial. Only heifers born in 2008 or 2009 are eligible for the sale and steers must have been born in 2009. All heifers must be officially calfhood vaccinated for Brucellosis. A vaccination certificate must be attached to the health certificate.Consignor guarantees heifers to be open or bred, this must be declared on the health certificate by the examining veterinarian.

SALE FEES AND DEADLINES
Stall Fee is $35 per animal, non refundable, due by Nov. 15th. Entries received later than November 15th will be permitted but lots will not be posted on web site. Sale Commission will be 8% for all cattle checked in throughout the sale. All sale cattle must have a base bid turned in to the sale committee prior to the start of the start of the sale. If cattle are no saled or not sold for any reason, sale commission will be charged off the base sale price turned in by seller.
